Get Started with AI - Module #6 - Business & society
In this sixth module, we will take a deeper look at examples of the impact AI can have on society and business. As we all know, AI systems are already part of our lives in that regard. It is, however, important to remember that AI is continuously growing and rendering new innovations. As with any innovation, there comes opportunities and challenges, and the journey in between can sometimes be messy. In such situations, we need to be mindful to avoid the trap of thinking that it is the technology that is either good or bad. Instead we need to focus more on how the use of AI connects to wanted or unwanted outcomes for people and the _world_**.**
In the following lecture, we will explore this topic further, as well as encouraging the shift from focusing too much on the technology, to instead focusing more on the use and outcome of said technologies when pursuing business and societal goals.
