Background:

Within the newly formed Edge Learning Consortium, AI Sweden and The Madison Security Labs (Madlabs) at Dakota State University (DSU) has started a collaboration on cyber security for Distributed Learning systems.

As a first step in this collaboration, a joint summer program for a select group of Graduate students from the US and Sweden has been conducted. The students has identified important security challenges relevant to distributed learning systems, they selected one of these challenges to explore. 

The students spent 4 weeks at AI Sweden and 4 weeks at DSU. They have had access to AI Sweden's edge learning lab as well as resources at DSU. They received guidance from faculty and resources from DSU as well as from industry representatives from companies that are partners with AI Sweden.
